Course Overview

The Emerging Dynamic Leaders Program is designed for people with 0 - 10 years of leadership experience, or for those with more tenure that would like to brush up on their leadership skills. 

The program is designed to help participants live the best version of themselves as leaders and provide participants with the skills they need to thrive and stay in our industry. 

It provides participants with concrete skills and tools to improve team performance both as a formal and informal leader. They will understand how leadership differs from management and the important skills related to both.

Program

The program will be a mixture of face-to-face workshops, which will include inspirational guest speakers, interactive learning, and virtual workshops, followed with support and mentorship to ensure confident completion of the program. 

The program is designed to enable participants to explore their current skill sets and desired learning objectives in areas such as leadership/management, communication, strategizing, mentoring and being mentored, personal branding and change management. The content of this course is industry agnostic, applicable in a wide range of contexts.

 

Investment

The program fee for CICA members is $3,250. The non-CICA member fee is $3,950.

Meet Your Mentors and Facilitators

Gretchen Gagel, PhD, GAICD

Gretchen has served as a non-executive director on numerous boards and is currently Chair of the Board of Brinkman Construction (US) and Non-Executive Director, International Women's Forum (AUS). Gretchen is a member of the National Academy of Construction, the Steering Committee of the Construction Industry Culture Taskforce (AUS), the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Women Corporate Directors (Global), and Women on Boards (AUS)

Gretchen is passionate about leveraging her success in the construction industry to help all women and underrepresented communities thrive. She partners with organizations to think strategically about diversity, equity, and inclusion; leads programs on leadership and networking; and coaches’ women to success.

Gretchen has dedicated her career to helping leaders, teams and organizations achieve greatness. Her consulting clients, including GM, Procter & Gamble, Questar Gas, Black & Veatch, and Miller Pipeline, achieve measurable and sustainable change that drives higher levels of performance.

 

Greg O'Meara

Greg is a Consultant, Facilitator and Executive Coach who has extensive experience working with a wide range of organisations and industries, specialising in Culture Transformation, Change Management, Leadership and Team Development.

He has worked with CEO’s, Management Boards, Executive Teams, Senior Managers, Managers and frontline employees in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA, Hong Kong, China, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands, Fiji, India and UAE – across a range of industries including financial services, insurance, rural services, superannuation, construction, retail, consumer goods, education, health, government and telecommunications.

He is passionate about the human element in business and is dedicated to helping individuals, teams and organisations be the best they can be in order to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. He uses his knowledge and skills to unleash potential and takes a systemic approach to ensure mindsets.
