Operators of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) are reminded by TMR that, from 1 July 2026, all affected vehicles must transition from the Intelligent Access Program (IAP) to the Telematics Monitoring Application (TMA).
A six-month transition period is now underway and will continue until 31 December 2026. During this time, the NHVR will issue reminder notices to operators who have not yet completed the transition.
Following the end of the transition period, operators who continue to operate where TMA is a condition of access without transitioning may be subject to compliance and enforcement action relating to their telematics requirements.
