Mobile Crane Maps Document Update

by Heidi Hervay | Dec 12, 2014

Updates have been made to the following mobile cranes maps related documents on the RMS website. These lists were based on BISdata as at 1 December 2014.

Summarised below are the changes to the following four documents:

1) Bridge approved since the last mobile crane map publication
- BN 5184 on Murray Valley Way at Murray River Approach Bridge 3 at Robinvale has been replaced by BN 11399. BN 11399 is suitable for all cranes up to SPV Level 4 and 12t axle networks.

2) Bridge denied since the last mobile crane map publication
- BN 5689 has been added to the above document as a means to inform crane operators that there has been a change to the road name for this bridge. BN 5689 is a restricted bridge on the SPV Level 4 and SPV Level 4 and 12t axle (and its equivalent) networks, which had its road name incorrectly labelled on the mobile crane map reference as Batlow Road. The Road Name has now been updated to Albury Street.

3) Map reference list for SPV Level 4 and its equivalent network
- BN 5689 has its road name updated from Batlow Road to Albury Street.

4) Map reference list for SPV Level 4 and 12t axle and its equivalent network
- BN 5689 has its road name updated from Batlow Road to Albury Street.
